"The beautiful riad, the stunning setting on the edge of the erg and above all the endlessly generous hospitality of Moha, Ali and company. They were so attentive but not overbearing and we hung out under the stars sharing songs by the fire. Moha even taught me the basics of desert-blues guitar (he's a master!). Omar is a good man with a pure heart. He will take good care of you. We took his advice upon arrival and booked the sunset camel ride and a stay in a deluxe tent for our second night here. We thought it would be kind of a hokey thing, but it turned out to be a great experience. They really roll out the red (brown) carpet for you, with a beautiful accommodation, candle lit dinner, delicious food.
After 3 weeks traveling slowly around Morocco, this was our best experience. The Berber people of this area are very special and this is a great place to start to meet them."
